I love when a romcom romcoms in all the ways. Like this still has a fresh vibe, with built in tension, undeniable chemistry but has the cliche and second hand embarassment required without that forced annoying love triangle in the mix. One of the romcoms I enjoyed this year was my idol my bias but that love triange annoyed me a bit.

Rewatching it again after multiple rewatches but man they really did Giseok wrong damn...

Second hand embarrassment was felt in these last 2 episodes. those intimate scenes were done perfectly. The clsoe shots, their games, zooming in and out of their faces. The scenes with her family id also so funny because nobody works except the grand kids😭😭

the way the poster is gives it away too tbh. There's this running narrative that if one character is looking at the other as they look away, one of them is dying lol. But stakes are too high, being a spy, betraying his people, liking or sleeping with someone from Joseone

Yes but it is not something you would see except you go looking for it at least in Korean dramas from my own experience so far

For the type of heartbreak this is bound to deliver, its best to take it in small doses

I have maybe seen a handful of kdramas that explore sex or sexual tendencies or wants as a drama and i have never seen one about sex toys. Obviously the characters and experiences of the male and female leads is at the center but it doesn't feel like a recycle kdrama in that sense. maybe in the inexperience of the fl and experience of the ml

They are different types of romance and the characters have different challenges though there are some similarities in the male leads. So far i think between steps though a bit rushed and sometimes feels very unrealistic or the direction feels about of place, i think it is still more real and down to earth as a show. i think its a dynamic that can happen in real life and it feels very human so I enjoy it. But I mean its not always about life so I am enjoying make me tingle more, the tension, chemistry, the imbalance in sexual experiences is very attractive to me and it touches on a topic we dont see often in Asian dramaa. i Definitely think you should give it a chance.

yeahh i know right 10 episodes is definitely not enough but I have enjoyed the pacing so far. It would be unfortunate to see a rushed ending but I think we get decent length of scenes with the leads so far.

Yeah I mean its clearly the angle of passion desire which she has not explored since she looks at other things as priority but Its still like off from his side given he still just wants to have sex? But I mean the conversation with her brother and how he was looking when he said looking at someone and having this different goal or belief when you think of them?, I guess he is considering doing something like that with her given he has not explored it but its all left for us to read into it

Wow the end of episode 6 was so hot. For some weird reason, I thought she would ask him to teach her how to use the sex toy but they didn't go through that angle. The ml claims he doesn't date his coworkers but he jumps at every chance to kiss her or be intimate with her. And him having this belief that only one day or one encounter is enough to start a relationship and how sex is the way he dates is also quite weird.

There is a guy who is sweet, kind and has same similar values regarding marriage and relationships. But Dal is too different. i know its a romcom and happy ending but ideally this should be a short-lived experience where she uses this as an opportunity ro express herself with so eone who respects the boundaries of sex while learning about her body and what gives her pleasure.
