Hilarious! 🤣 Overally, a fun and easy-going show that fizzles out towards the end. Seems Meng Ziyi isn't the martial arts type, coz all she does is put up appropriate poses but not actually fight like Liu Shishi & Zhao Liying, for example.

I'm no expert, coz also just hopped over from 2D Japanese anime to 3D Chinese donghua. My favorite though is 永生 or Immortality. Other great donghua are listed on sites like https://donghualist.com/
Not bad. Exciting first-third. Then drags and finishes off with some pace. Lovely female lead and her sweet sister. Hate the ML's VA voice ... always whispering and mubbling - can't hear him clearly; and if I raise the volume to hear him, the rest of the cast's voices become too loud. Can't he just speak like a normal person??? Damn!
Ok show, but don't like the constant switching of choices. Breaks immersion. Prefers dedicating first half to one story and the other half to the other story. I fast-forwarded the "staying" half of the show coz I'm only interested in the "moving" half of it. LOL
BTW, similar thing happened to me: My gf was like this girl - went overseas to work, then changed after one year and for no given reason, broke off with me.
Good 1st-half - short & sweet. Meh 2nd-half. Girl is cute and good actress. Guy is stiff and expressionless. Episode 7 is so funny I had to rewatch! LOL
