The rating is bugged with MDL's algorithm guys! This happens all the time with newer series, but they get fixed like 1 week later.

There are currently no issues with knetz with this drama and they are absolutely loving it based on their comments + high ratings. Keep in mind that koreans also love xianxia and wuxia, even most of their top "cultivation" webcomics and novels are directly inspired by it.
