Kdramas have just lost their charm, hardly one or two watchable in a year. Maybe its cuz I have watched too many…
I think it's because the audience has changed. A big part of the new audience doesn't care much about plot or charm or even acting..they just wanna watch their favorite idols/stars. That's how trash gets hyped the most and makes big profit. Few are willing to spend money on good writers and actors. I miss the times before netflix got their greedy paws into K-dramas
Kdramas have just lost their charm, hardly one or two watchable in a year. Maybe its cuz I have watched too many of them lol but yeah either they are trying hard to copy western dramas or busy being cliché.
My all time fav: A tale of thousand stars , I told the Sunset about you, KinnPorsch, Revenge Love . History 3 Word of Honor Never let me go PitBabe S.1
Thanks for compiling this list. I'm just confused by some of the actors on here because they've had enough popularity in the past to land them main lead roles. E.g. Seo Kang Joon gained popularity starring in "Cheese and the Trap", Park Jin Young cemented himself with "He is Psychometric" back in 2019...
Lowkey tempted to add Strangers from Hell despite it NOT being a romance because ngl, the two leads have stronger chemistry than a lot of romances do 😭 Also as someone who has read some of the manhua and webnovel, stunned to see The Confidence here lol, what the heck did that drama change
this list was literally made for me bcs this is one of my favorite sub-genres and i always filter for it when Im searching for shows so thank youuuu!!!
