To add to the confusion. I saw sailing mentioned in ep 13 when the husband was making the trip. I imagine captives would be forced to walk the length where as people with means could go by ship.

What's both beautiful and infuriating about this show is that each ending is explosive and they then spend part of the next episode retracing their steps/filling in detail/building back up to that moment only to then progress the story forward and drop another one on us. It's amazing in many ways.

On Eun Yu's grandfather. Choi Se Kyeong from 1995 is the same lady who gave him the guitar in 2023. She said her father was MLs mentor. But there's no recognition coming from ML towards the music store owner which has me confused as to who he actually is.

Question. So who's the guy that's been following Choi Se Kyeong around if he isn't her father/MLs mentor?

I think it was a perfectly acceptable ending. It went to show that they both chose to continue their fight on their own respective paths.

Curious what happens if it's the cure to the curse that gets nullified. Been a little too easy so far...

If sort of following the Joseon history, my thought was that maybe the beach scene takes place around the time of CPs death. Their stories are sort of interlinked after all. I do hope I'm wrong though as that would significantly reduce the time they have together.
