I liked it up to ep. 33 .. from there on it had filler eps. and i skipped a lot of scenes. Chu Zhaos obsession over her felt fabricated. Obsession is a drama trope but it would have been better if he had sacrificed himself for her in any way. Or he had made a turnaround and realised that he loved his maid .

Happy to see Wu Jun Ting in this - he was so cute in "Time an him are just right"

I know... but still - he is not this pure evil antagonist. It feels like he is seeking attention from his father through his actions ( He is from the demon sect, so evil actions are the way they handle things) . Exept for his obsession over Han Li that is a personal vendetta.

Suddenly i ship Wang Chan and Dong Xuan Er... they would make a cute couple.

I know... i love the mandarin Language though. I am watching mostly historical, wuxia and xianxia. Im not into modern chinese drama - to me they mostly display an unreal world.

I mostly stopped watching any other than c-dramas... my hubby is frequently asking me if i want to move to china.

Is started watching the donghua... but then suddenly got confused over the live action... it was like... hmm did i not just watch this yesterday already? So i quit.. hahaha

He is so obsessed with Han Li.. it has almost BL characteristics

Poor Qiao Qian ... Han Li keeps feeding her Oblivion Pills en masse... this time they are extra potent ones.. Let see if they hold up

Still to me the feeling is: they share a deep bond like brother and sister. Doesnt help that he calls her Shi Mei all the time. So it feels off to me.
