This line hurt me. Yes, mingye was too upright, ignorant and blind to see the things that were happening under his nose with sangjiu. But, he was confused. It was all new for him. He never wanted a wife and when he got one, he didnt know how to deal with her and the new emotions that came with her. It DOES NOT justify his actions OR lack of them in this case but it does help us understand the formidable God of War. Mingye was a HERO. A HERO TO THE CORE. Thats why his actions were also like that of a hero.
Even with all the flaws, the god of war, mingye will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart.

Season 2 was wayyyyyyy batter than Season 1 for me. In season 1 they had a STUDENT TEACHER relationship to the fullest. BUT, In Season 2 they had what we call a LOVER RELATIONSHIP.
S2 for me was the ending to the start. S1 was the beginning of a beautiful world of alchemy and s2 was the end we needed. I will also be a little blunt here but we all know half of the problem people had in s2 was due to the actress change.
But once again i will say, they HAD WAYYY BETTER CHEMISTRY IN S2 THAN S1.
I MISS the ANCIENT DEVIL GOD so much. He was such a MATERIAL GIRL.
