Both ZLH and BAILU are on their slay era i swear. They are slaying it.

The dark cinematography and colour grading of the trailer gives it a dramatic and mysterious look.
I have to say some shorts look like something out of a MV, specially those mud scene clips.

To keep it simple the trailer screams MONEY, SEXINESS AND MELODRAMA

Its good. But was i crazy over it??? NO.
Was it out of the world??? NO.
Did i like it??? Yes
But do i understand the hype??? NO

Yes, i found it lacking in story. Some parts dragged a lot as well. It was fun and fluffy but i wanted it a little more serious.
Between that drama could have been a proper HEA is youku wanted. But no.

Cheng yi and LYX have always been famous. The public doenst need to pity then to like them.
As for the story i would respectfully disagree.
The plot is COMPLEX.
3 LIFETIMES, 1000 YEARS.
The male lead played like 4 characters [6 if you ask me]
The female lead and 2nd leads played 3 characters.
Calling the plot and story mediocre is not quite correct i think
