I agree, but I do think there is some mistrust there, or he would have left Porchay with them. Until he figures…
SAME!!!! I THINK WHAT PORSCHE DID was really stupid as well as quite a nice way of handling\g thing>>>>>>> i can actually see where his choice came from but i also wanna slap him for not trusting kinn enough
Porsche didnât deserve to slap Vegas since he traded his supposed best friend back to his abuser for some information
Iâm awarding 100 points to Porsche for
(a) letting Pete lie to him and keep his privacy. (b) allowing Pete and Vegas to meet even knowing that Vegas was the one who hurt Pete- which tells me that he could read both that Vegas is no longer a threat to Pete and that Pete doesnât hate Vegas.
In other words, Porsche figured out that Pete is going through something like what he went through himself with Kinn in episode 5, and decided to wingman that situation. Which is incredibly fucked up of him and he deserves 100 points
Hear me out. everyone is saying that porsche didnât tell kinn bc he doesnât trust him. but itâs not bc he doesnât trust kinn - he didnât want to put him in that situation of having to choose between porsche and his father. especially when porsche didnât have all the facts yet. so he had to find real facts with the help of someone who hasnât/canât be bought by the main family (bc he knows how well the main family lies/twists the truth).
He said in his note to kinn âI just need to find an answer for something. I will come home soonâ or sumn, which means he just wanted to collect the truth to be sure he wasnât going to cause the family to break for no reason. and then come back to kinn once he knows the truth. but bc he was seen with vegas, it looks bad as an outsider.
Not to mention - if he had told kinn, chances are he would confront his father, so porsche couldnât do his own investigation under the radar, without korn knowing and hiding info. aside from all this, porsche has the right to figure out the truth about his familyâs murder in his own way. by not telling anyone he took out all the variables that could get in the way of finding out the truth. he wasnât there to play. and once he found out the truth, he was going to take those findings back to kinn bc now there is a reason to act. (obvi, he didnât count on korn being his uncle lol.)
And yes - I am disappointed, too. bc last ep they said âno more secretsâ and âletâs start over.â which seems to be the main issue ppl have. I agree this makes it a bit redundant. but porsche made that promise before knowing that the entirety of kinnâs family was lying about porscheâs parents death. and he had to find out the truth no matter the cost, and spare kinnâs involvement so he wouldnât
a) cause discord in the family, creating a weakness that can then lead to uprising, b) let korn know that porsche was onto him, c) put kinn in the dire position of having to lie and betray his father, and all the consequences that would follow from that.
