Pete is one of the most complicated characters of the show. He loves Vegas but he does not want to accept his feelings, he is conflicted because Vegas still keeps him locked up. He is angry with himself for sleeping with Vegas and enjoying it. Most of all, he doesn’t believe that Vegas could ever love him because he chained him again. But he wants Vegas to love him. He wants it so badly that once Vegas shows concern and kindness, Pete gives in, too. When Vegas kisses him, Pete hesitates. He wants to escape but at the same time he doesn’t want to leave Vegas. He reaches out to touch him and leans in again because he wanted that kiss. He suffers terribly under the choice to leave Vegas. You can see the agony the moment he has to ready himself to hit Vegas. It pains him to hurt Vegas because he does love him.

Macau: hey [sits down]
Chay: P'Pete made pancakes!
Macau: ooh! Pancakes! [grabs a few pancakes from the tray to his plate] do we have any whipped cream?

Macau: [puts whipped cream on his pancakes and digs in]
