Title Cityboy_Log
You know how in vol 4 ep 1, Jihan suggested that vol 4 be natural and without a script? That kind of implies that…
So it really is "vol 3 is just a drama we acted in". Hahahaha. I get that now. It'd feel better to think that way. I need to get used to it. Anyway thank you!

I discovered them since vol 1 but I just recently started watching them, so I don't know much. I hope anyone who knows could explain it to me. What's vol 4 is supposed to be? Vol 4 might be my favourite so far by how natural and refreshing it looks. But I'd enjoy it so much more if vol 3 had ended properly. Cmiiw but only Jihan apologised right? Jaejun and Yunje never did. Dongseop too. In vol 4 they be acting like vol 3 never happened. All of a sudden they're good friends. As if vol 3 was just a drama they acted in, not at all affecting their "reality". Tbh I kinda like the 5 of them together because of 2J moments but when it's between YJD, I skipped all of it. What they did in vol 3 still left a bad impression to me that I really don't care what's going on with them. It also feels like the writers didn't know what to do with YJD so they wrote whatever crap they could think of.

people raging and rating low just because of the CHEATING?🤡 bro ITS JUST A BL SERIE! Some dramas HAVE CHEATING…
I actually don't mind cheating plot. I'm also reading a cheating webtoon which everyone voted so low for but I'm enjoying it because the story flow is that good. This one though was bad imo. I hate that only Jihan apologised, but Jaejun and especially Yunje never did. Cmiiw maybe I missed that scene or something because I'm still so confused. Felt like they just swept it under the rug, like vol 3 never happened and all of a sudden they're good friends in vol 4? I'd rate it low for the bad writing

I just finished binge watching it in a week, and this is the 1st xianxia after 3 years that I've watched until the end. There are more things I want to complain than to compliment, though I'm not gonna write all that😅 Throughout the drama, I always thought they're better off without each other. So I was satisfied with the ending. I did think the little daughter at the end was cliche though. Anyway, I still loved and enjoyed it, and I already miss the main couple and the 3rd side couple. Would I rewatch it? Probably not. But I might come back to watch the evil Tantai Jin again 😆

"I could only take it as a lesson" means I KNOW he made a mistake. I just won't judge him as in calling him toxic or red flag since it's not his natural behavior. It's a mistake and he learned from it to become a better person and move on. That's all

This is a good character analysis video you should watchhttps://youtu.be/LweZ8_eVnzU
I love what he said about Jihyun. Jihyun knew Jaewon was struggling and didn't mean what he said. Instead of giving up, pushing him or whining to him, he understood and waited for him to come to his senses. This is the eighth sense, to feel the other person's emotion. I really suggest people who complained about their reconciliation was too short and sudden, to watch ep 9 again with a clearer head this time, because I think you just missed a huge chunk of what Jihyun said in this episode

How about reviewing a show, no matter good or bad, without insulting the actors or condemning those who like/dislike it? Free opinion ≠ free pass to insult others

I saw those comments (except the deleted comments you mentioned). I'm sorry that it wasn't a pleasant experience for you (both the drama and MDL comment section). I love this drama, but I still find it funny that some of them who claimed to love it because it's addressing on depression and healing from it would personally attack others just because people have different opinions. Cyber bullying is one of the cause for anxiety and depression, but I guess they haven't learned nothing. Just do yourself a favor and block them, or report. Take care~

YOU GUYS MIGHT HATE ME. I DROP THIS DRAMA ON EP 7/8. I STARTED TO SENSE SOME RED FLAG FROM THE JAEWON 1. WHEN…
One thing I do agree with you is yes people tend to glorify red flags. Often times in BLs, stories that romanticize toxic male leads are popular than those that promoted healthy relationships. A short redemption arc and suddenly the guy was forgiven. I won't like Jaewon either if he's the type to normally act this way, but since his behaviors were resulted from his past trauma, I couldn't disagree much. Since a problem that seems easier for me to handle might not be the same for other people, so I have no right to judge him. Other than that, I could only take it as a lesson. Meanwhile, I do understand why Jihyun still accepted him. We don't know much of his backstory, but I think he's similar to Jaewon in some ways. Jihyun seemed to have certain family issues back home, with how he reported to his mother about almost everything, and his parents came all the way to his university to get the club disbanded but didn't stay with him in the hospital. Sounds like the typical korean parents in kdrama who only care about their kids' achievement (note that Jihyun was the top in his high school, so this is possible). Due to them having family issues, they were incapable of self love, hence they're drawn to each other. They need to love each other to be able to start loving themselves. That's why Jihyun couldn't let Jaewon go. He needed him just as much. --- is what I could come out with.

been seeing some posts on IG from the official page and their captioning pictures from the episodes as Season…
I don't wanna say goodbye either so a season 2 would be awesome. They can focus on Jihyun's backstory and Jaewon's family issue next. But I hope they won't end this season with open/sad ending

I watched ep 1 when it first came out and I didn't like the bullying part, so I waited until it's completed to pick it back up. It's a good binge watch to pass time. Did I like it? Not really. It's not bad, just decent. It may be good enough if it was released back when there were only a few kbls. But the standard is very high nowadays. There's no impact whatsoever. I'll probably forget that I've already watched it after a few months.

I thought I was the only one waiting for the bartender to actually do something cool rather than just pour redbull…
I totally get that. But I stand with my point, even without that scene, I don't think it'll affect the story in any way

Some scenes were relatable, like Jaewon and Yoonwon drinking after the trip since they talked about him. But not all. Like I said, even if those scenes were edited out, it won't affect in any way

Her comment on her suicidal patient was terrible (among others terrible comments). I agree with you, I don't find…
I thought I was the only one who found it weird that she mentioned suicide in front of her patient who was clearly not in the right mind. Not to mention the first thing she said after Jaewon not coming for a month was complaining that she almost couldn't pay her rent instead of asking what happened to him.

Being a college student most of the time involves alcohol, lol. But im with you, we could get scenes wih more…
Hahahah I totally get that. But to have 2-3 drunken scenes in 1 episode is so unhealthy. Not just them but audiences too
On The Eighth Sense Apr 20, 2023
I have no complain for this drama, except for the excessive (not to mention useless) drinking scenes. Too much alcohol that I think doesn't really contribute to the plot, except for a few. Like the latest scene with the bartender, that's an interesting trivia. But if it's edited out, I don't think it'll affect anything. Should replace those scenes with more development between the 2 main characters. I guess the director/s love alcohols

There's no point in writing this. They think they're doing "constructive criticism". Let them be
No no, I agree with you. Just saying they won't think the same no matter what other people say
