if I jump straight to episode 6, will it affect my understanding of the story? I mean, are there any major events in episodes 1-5?

This is indeed my preference which is a little tricky in choosing and liking drama. I don't like fls that are too silly and naive, but also avoid fls that are too stubborn and rigid in principle. I like fl who knows when to go forward and when to back down, that's why until now I rarely watch dramas from any country.
