I *do* intend to be offensive, because this drama was absolute trash; it should have been called "Eternal Boredom." I was excited to see these two guys together again, but the story was so silly and nonsensical from start to finish. Honestly, I only finished it because I don't like leaving things unfinished, but I completely wasted my time watching this disaster.

I haven't finished it yet, but I agree with so many things you said. Instead of being called "Eternal Fragrance," it should be called "Eternal Suffering," because that's what I feel every time I force myself to watch a new episode. Like you, I hate leaving things unfinished, but it's been so difficult to follow this incredibly boring story. So much so that I've done something I've never done before: watch it at 1.5x speed with the dubbing from my country (I always watch dramas in their original language because I enjoy them that way). But I had to resort to certain "tricks" to make the experience a little more bearable. The characters convey absolutely nothing, the story is incredibly repetitive, and they do the same thing over and over again. It's ridiculous. I've even seen low-budget dramas with better plots than this one. It's truly awful. I know I'll finish it someday, but it won't be anytime soon, because I absolutely hate it.

That's why I HATED that character, I HATED him with all my soul, and I thought it was disgusting that he ended up with the little Taoist boy. The poor innocent kid was left with her abuser. Honestly, I wanted her to die. Please give us back Camarón 😭 and we'll hand this woman over to you

I doubt it, at least personally I loved The Trust; but I think I'll be able to enjoy this version, just as I've enjoyed all the adaptations, although I don't think I'll like it more than The Trust.

The Trust was beautiful, I watched it and thanks to it I watched the donghua, the donghua q and read the manhua; and regarding Hao Wei, the accusations against him were false, it's sad that they ruined his career unfairly 😔
