I'm so happy to find people who feel the same way I do; I felt so out of place for being the only one not loving this drama. I can't stand that all the characters are evil and obsessed with the main character anymore. It makes no sense and it gets repetitive and boring. I am going to finish it because I don't like leaving series unfinished, but I'm struggling to keep going. I'm even watching it at double speed to stay awake. But as soon as I finish this awful ordeal, I'm going to erase it from my memory and pretend it never existed.

I truly love finding reviews like this so I can realize I'm not completely crazy; everyone is loving this drama, and I feel like I'm the only one who can't stand it. I find it boring, repetitive, and like you said, super degrading to men. I'm a little worried because you say the last 6 episodes are the worst, and those are the ones I'm missing. I couldn't agree more with you. I'm eight episodes in and they're dragging on forever and are unbearable. I'm also watching two other dramas, and I'm enjoying those quite a bit. But every time I start watching this one, it makes me so sleepy from how boring it is, and I practically force myself to finish at least one episode a day. I find the female lead insufferable, and I don't think the couple is as beautiful as everyone says. Their relationship feels so fake, and I also feel it's way overrated; it doesn't deserve all the hype

Yes, I don't really like modern dramas, but since I saw the trailer and synopsis of the 7 relics, it caught my attention and it's going to be the first modern drama I'm going to watch; the one I'm most looking forward to seeing is The Eternal Fragance, because I love the chemistry he has with Jing Yi and I want to see them acting together again.

Aún no termino de leer la reseña, pero literal el primer párrafo describe exactamente lo que pensé y sentí, antes de empezar esta serie termine la horrible historia de Chong Zi que cumple con el arquetipo de todo lo malo que mencionaste y por supuesto Back from the Brink es todo lo opuesto, yo también quede maravillada, tanto como con los personajes, la historia y todo el proceso de producción que llevo a cabo este drama. Definitivamente es preciosa
