They cannot remove the romance scenes though it is an action drama it relies more on relationship between the main leads. They both have equal importance with the drama. They might remove the scenes of support characters first.

mainly both action dramas are ML centric. So I think Xu Kai can get decent time.
If ABAY Main Leads have equal billing then definitely we can expect more of Xu Kai though I think it looks like FL centric as per trailer. I read novel but still not sure how they are going to film it.
Anyways, I care about this year most! After watching CPS6 Video in WeTV, I'm much more relaxed. WOL is also rumored to air soon (September). They must do it as CPS6 should air in November.

So Story of Joy can reduce the screen time for Xu Kai again? Just like SAHPH??
I see Chinese Paladin Season 6 can have more screen time for Xu Kai as the plot seems to be around Xu Kai and Yushuxin.
Also, Wonderland of Love can have little more screen time compared to his previous outings.
I've doubt on As Beautiful as you too.

It was 1 season from the beginning. Shot the drama for 46 episodes only. Then new rule declared that dramas should contain maximum of 40 episodes. There was a rumor that Wonderland of Love Team decided to turn 1 season to 2 seasons. Second rule - "Each season should have a gap of 6/12 months. So, they have increased the runtime in each episode and cut few scenes. Got License to Broadcast. With 6 eps, I don't think it will ruin the story.

Initially, I thought Xu Kai got direct offer as ML for Wonderland of Love. So to accept that, he had to chose SEL.
I heard from CPS6 to SOJ all are direct offers. Not sure if it's true.

No right? YZ intervened in the project selection. I saw on twitter that a person who posted on weibo "To allow Xu Kai star in other dramas, YZ asked him to star in Snow Eagle Lord. As YZ had connection with Siba".
Snow Eagle Lord is something which Xu Kai didn't agree in the beginning but to not miss starring chances for direct dramas, he had to accept SEL.
IDK if it's the truth and I think @zineara or anyone who knows about this can comment.

I'm already concerned with it. 46 to 40 eps.. though they increase time it would be 5-10 mins more. barely 6 eps fit in that.

Up to Snow Eagle Lord, YZ had hand in Xu Kai's Dramas. But from WOL, I'm seeing different direction. Seven tan's drama Idk if it is S+. But I heard WOL, CPS6 and SOJ are S+ Dramas. I don't think they will make mistakes in S+ Dramas.

I just wanted to know if there's a plot like that. I don't care much about the romance. I recently watched a few dramas which have annoying exes. I think NJF is the one who is ex right? He's a good actor and handsome.

Yes 40 episodes and I think it is confirmed and got license to broadcast as well. Hope WOL becomes a perfect drama stopping all negativity and haters around Xu Kai..

I read 3 chapters that are translated by someone on WOL's page in the discussion box. I think plot is really good. The Trailer is also good. Xu Kai is really cool. As the original author is involved in the screenplay, Drama will get better. As long as author is in the crew, we can expect better version for sure. But having too hopes is something I need to deal with. I placed high hopes on WOL because I want it to shut all the haters mouths at once. What do I need more as Xu Kai's fan? WOL should kill negativity around him.

Yes! Chinese media knows how Yu Zheng is. Still they make these comments? Where as other artists like WHD and WL got good backing and they don't do such bad tricks like YZ does. They rely on marketing and Xu Kai gets negative backlashes.

I really hope WOL gives Xu Kai - Extra Screentime (From Ep1), No Bad Remarks, Good presence, No Editing Issues, No VFX (if any) Issues. I know no drama can be perfect at least 5-10% the drama will have issues.
