Xu Kai always urged fans to be real not to use fake accounts, etc. So that might be the case for most fans using the real accounts to support him. He got brand popularity with that real data. Otherwise if you look at other actors and see their reactions are more but the real value comes from the brand's endorsements

They just followed the references from real world examples. Even in US, there were instances that those companies claimed "we do this", "we do that" even faked the due diligence part! Atleast here, you're able to see things are oddly arranged. In some real world example, they faked entire due diligence process like selling fake PC memory cards in fruit baskets, etc and fooled auditors.
