My guess is almost right 😂😂 The pairing is perfect in the drama. I hoped Gulinazha does good but she surprised with her performance doing well with Xu kai. Bai Shu is also good and in a support role to Xu Kai was an amazing pick. Guy who acted as Qinshi also good. he just resembles the younger qinshi like in Episode 1.
Except Vfx and annoying characters like Si Borong and Situ Hong, this drama is good. I expected more screentime for Xu Kai and Gulinazha, Xu Kai and Pu Yangbo!

He isn't the traitor. He didn't want to hand his students to demon clan. He thought Demons are interested in Transcendant Knight as his power is needed to open demon gate..
So he created a barrier but Demon Clan entered the trial which he knows that they will enter because 2nd priest had Xiaoxi's soul. But he is ultimate savior for Xueying as demon clan targeted XY. He sacrifices himself for XY and becomes Spy to know their plans!
Hope he gets a happy ending! His character deserves more..

he killed in most disgusting way. I understand he attacked him harshly because he is demon mask. but when he saw him he knocked his head to kill him. In the later episode, when Xueying finds the body and returns to academy. He acts as if he didn't do anything and avenge his death! I think someone wrote earlier in one of my comments that all masters are stupids that's actually true. they couldn't even find the murderer.
