There are many loopholes in the drama.
-> Ji Rong turned into Demon and still Qinshi is still trusting her.
-> Bai Yuanzhi Messed up
-> JQ didn't find Situ Hong mysterious? He gave her pill before turning into god. She didn't say it to XY. I understand they fell into another serious problem but given this is also important.

For me CGI isn't a problem at all. I've seen so many dramas with poor CGI. You mean The legends (Xu kai Bai Lu)?
That had so many flaws - mainly editing, vfx. compared to that, this is far better.
In the beginning of SEL, I didn't notice any VFX issues but in the later episodes, I found there are quality issues.

I agree! My thoughts are also same. Why do they need Xu Kai, Gulinazha and Bai Shu as main leads when they don't get enough screen time? I sometimes feel the annoying characters like Situ Hong, Ji Rong and Ao Lan are the main leads as they have more screentime.

Really frustrated. Hope WOL doesn't disappoint us.

It is not about choosing similar projects, he must be clear of screen time he gets for every episode! Xu Kai must consider the screen time aspect while signing a new project.

In the last 6 eps, I felt SH, JR, AL got more screen time than others. Just see you will understand.
Are these characters more important that XY, JQ, YB? YB is also an important character as he is going to be support to XY in war against YB.

Yangbo transformation is like uneven! XY gets good screen time but with others like wu cang, etc far better than the previous episodes. XY & JQ also have good screen time.
But giving time for JR & XY's brother is irritating which doesn't have any significance. Every episode it turns out like JR doing something and XY's brother acts like an idiot believing her.

This drama wasted the talents like Pu Yang Bo! I understand that the drama is based on XY transformation but when you're making it to 40 episodes. What's the significance of giving more screen time to others like demons, Ji Rong & Situ Hong?
I really wanted YB and XY's bond. Editing staff could roll situ hong's demon clan power transformation within 20 minutes of whole time. He is getting atleast 5-10 mins screen presence in every episode.

If this drama was to be made for 28 to 30 episodes then the production quality would have improved? I mean VFX and other negatives stated in the reviews?
