Though Today we had amazing scenes but still I felt something was really dumb.. JQ knows Situ Hong can be a demon Spy still she went to Si Family's House! Lol! and fell into trap set by him. After XY's Saint Realm scene, he fainted and brought back for rest. She was with Changfeng. Can't you say it out that you were taken to Demon God Association because of Situ Hong?

Screenwriter must have thought to make bad guys stronger and intelligent. Keeping XY as the main intelligent and stronger is enough to deal with bad guys.
Ancient Blood Line made him enter Saint Level. Does that mean he is more powerful than the elders and JQ ? JQ's hairpin (Xue) says if his bloodline activates then that power could also kill gods! So he is more powerful than them now? When JQ's mom was killed 20 years ago, I think it was because of Ancient Bloodline power affects.
Poor XY lost his mother. Moyang Yu killed herself to kill Demon God is an ultimate sacrifice. Oh Now I get it Why JQ couldn't be with XK because of his ancient bloodline.

If you see it.. mostly his screen presence in the entire episode was 8 mins. sometimes, he got 10-12 mins with Yangmi. Yang mi and her Ex work in the same firm so he was always visible on screen.
Another thing I thought was the writers ignored Xu Kai's story. They always brought Yongli 20 (The trade he did in the past) into the context only to hurt his self-esteem. His good past was added as narration that too by He Feng Tian in a restaurant! Bad past was shown for 5 mins involving his mentor and colleague.
There's a Taiwanese Drama I watched. In 13 eps, they gave enough screen time for ML, ML's gf, FL, FL's bf and other support characters like ML's friend and FL's friend. It was based on relationship changes but it had ML as a trader same like Xu Kai in SAHPH. I think the Drama name - Before We Get Married.

All Xu Kai Dramas are my favs..! No matter how they come out. I don't see if FL fits him or not. All I want is to watch him effortlessly. Like Now, With great effort I'm watching this drama because of annoying characters with more screen presence. Due to that Situ Hong's eps, I left in between to complete hidden love and then luckily I got 6-8 episodes to watch at one time to skip Situ Hong's scenes. Negatives of his dramas - 1. Unnecessary Love Triangles, 2. Support Cast gets more screen time, 3. Xu Kai's decreased screen time, 4. His & His FL scenes getting chopped, 5. FL getting more screen time than ML and 6. His & His Friend/Bro's scenes getting chopped 3-4 Dramas which satisfied me were FIYS, AMA, LITKM, and OUATILM.

I'm not blaming the character writing.. I just felt How Qinshi can be that dumb? OK, he likes her and trust her. Atleast he should have some protection for his people. When XY asked if JR went out to Father's tomb, he was inquiring things. QS was like she never went out. He was practicing or doing other work when JR must have went outside and he was probably busy to keep an eye on her. He was saying it with 100% confidence like he stayed with her all the time.
