I have no problem with Yangmi's voice, Xu Kai portrayed it really well. I mean he is in 20s and he did it well because his character is little matured, introvert, calm personality, responsible, etc. I have seen comments comparing Xu Kai and Yang Mi Performances. We cannot compare it because Xu Kai as Yang Hua (He is in his 20s) and Yang Mi as Qin Shi (She is older than YH). Both characters thought process, point of views, maturity, etc would be different. I have also seen few "There are no sweet scenes and not many kisses". You guys need to think it through! Every relationship needs a built up. Can you randomly pick someone on the street and kiss them? No, right? Given both characters have different understanding towards relationships. It took time for them to adjust their personalities for each other. Recent Episodes showed few sweet scenes for you! Wait for another 16 episodes so that you get to watch more. This Drama is not only made for sweet/kiss scenes but also to show how an older woman and a younger man marrying each other continuing their lives perfectly facing turbulences in professional and personal being.
I too accept that I felt first 4 episodes were very slow because of repetitive scenes of her brother and her BF relationship scenes. Once they both met, Drama got in action mode! Now I feel that it is going too fast!
Despite love story, there are scenes which make you worried a bit what YH is going to do in the next moment? or What QS is going to do to come out of the mess?

Simple Answer - He still loves Qin Shi! I think it proves a bit in next episodes (I saw a preview of his care towards QS in upcoming episodes). Though he moved on, he has feelings for QS! Any how, QS won't go back to TJH that I'm relieved off because of YH. But as mentioned in the comments that YH's ex Yao Yao makes an appearance and this shouldn't make QS and YH relation off-track (even for sometime).
YH has no Ex. It's just that he happened to meet Li Dai when his mom was looking for his son to get married.
What?? I didn't know that. but how next 16 episodes are going to fit Yao Yao appearance and QS faceoff. There are more important things to deal with - What's the past of YH with his old company?, How QS deals with Wu fei, Tang Yihui and Tao JunHui?
Why SAHPH is scheduled for December 9th? I know the reason but according to the schedule shared earlier by Tencent has SAHPH airing only on Mondays - Thursdays. Airing schedule is going to change again?
In the first few episodes, I felt the drama went slower and had little boring stuff but now I'm feeling it is going faster and getting interesting.! I feel they have given more importance to all the characters surrounding Yang Hua and Qin Shi than Yang Hua and Qin Shi relationship build up in the first half of the drama. Hope the Drama focuses more on YH and QS in the second half neglecting Li Dai and Tao Junhui.
Why ratings are pouring in? It's just in it's first half and all are rating it quickly. Don't you guys think you can wait till 40 episodes and rate the drama? I'm not pointing those who not only rated 1,2,3 but also the ones who rated 4 and 5. Don't be just quick and blind, wait little later.
I feel it is better than many school dramas. Indeed, a Hidden Gem! I liked the way the characters are created and there are many emotional moments. It's a mix of different feelings such as excitement, enjoyment, sadness, anger. etc. I loved this drama through out.
I don't think so. He is not bullying them. He is trying to scare them but he had the tumour which makes him turn his personality whenever he sees something bad. Like the pic of girl found in Sa Jung Gyeong's dark room, he reacted instantly because of his past with his brother who was assaulted. He couldn't control his anger and he vented out on that guy. He stopped himself when he passed out.
When Sa Jung tried to scare jae boom, again he lost his control and started thrashing the other guys around. Jae boom stopped him. So i think he needs someone to stop.
can someone explain why there are many main characters? do all of their role play an important part
Every character has their own resemblance in the drama. Chanmi, Jee Soo are already main characters. Jae boom is mostly roaming around the FL Chanmi. Kuk Ji Hyeon roaming around ML Jee Soo. Gi O Sung seems to be main villian of the drama because he attacked Chanmi in auditorium and he is a sibling of Kuk Ji Hyeon. Tae So Yeon is a victim and helping other victims with vengeance with the help of Jee Soo Heon. 6 Main characters with 6 different resemblances. I got to see all the characters atleast 3-4 times in every episode.
I have a gut feeling that Seok Jae Boom, Gi O Sung & Kuk Ji Hyeon are involved in different incidents including Park Won Seok's Murder.
Hope there would be atleast 2-3 sweet scenes in atleast few episodes otherwise it would be waste to watch only crime or thriller scenes. 🤞
