Yes at least we got closure here but i would've loved a hug scene or even a kiss scene when yuanqi got back.

This drama is among the best I watched so far, we barely get a good ending for second characters and for the "bad guys" in the drama but here I'm happy that even Ming qe got his chance for redemption. The whole story here brings memories of shanggu and bai jue, they went through so much to be together and just like his father yuan qi fought for his love.
Honestly. the rating should be more than 8.2 because the actors all of them did a good job in portraying each character, each emotion. I hope more people will watch it.

So the time leap there is 300 years and yes it is the real Chu Kong which is why she ask "who are you this time" and both cried because they found each other again just like they said they will meet again before Chu Kong died. In my opinion, the names are their given name in the mortal world.
