I find that ChanYoung and Jiyu are falling in love more organically and credibly. I can't imagine heesu and SeungWon yet, because they are both pathetic.

The question is primarily geared towards "I hope nothing sexual happens between them until Shin is older, maybe 21." So I was asking those who have read the manga for spoilers so I can continue watching without apprehensions. Discomfort is OK if that is the intent.
I personally liked Old Fashion Cupcake which also has a 10 year age gap and actual assault. But OFC features two adults. My concern stems from considering of Shin can make adult romantic decisions, and Minato seema to think he can't. I liked ep. 1 to 3 because Minato has been restraining himself but in ep 4 he entertains the idea.
There are several intense scenes here where one main assaults another and the way the show deals with the guilt and the regret shows not only how carefully the show wants to discuss consent but also the incredible acting the leads can dish out. There is a scene where Togawa cleans his apartment while the light comes from behind him and we see two fat drops of tears fall from his cheeks. Great cinematography, beautiful framing, amazing acting.
This upturns several BL tropes. Particularly the shirtless scene was very non-sexual, and proved to be sweet and intimate without objectifying the lead. Following that, it uses an ex to imply jealousy but instead we see Kaneda defending Yanase at a professional capacity. Some comments dislike the worship that Kaneda has for Yanase but part of the plot is how Kaneda must learn to perceive Yanase as a human being first.
