1.country life of premodern (before 1960) era of SOUTH ASIA, EAST ASIA AND SOUTH EAST ASIA.
2.life and character of a farmer and his family,
3.when a girl get married before age 15.

point 2. if one do not understand farmer soul, they will not understand why ML father and FL father behave like that.

we do not have to like that, but to a farmer land is like other child to them.

if someone giving his or her best, then it is Xing Fei. if im not wrong her character is around 13-15 age, if it is then she did really fantastic job playing her character.

until now i thought Northward will be bast drama of the year, now i think This Thriving Land might surpass Northward in every way.

i do not think they need to change things that much, just little modifies scene or He Yan character essence as they change body switch plot line from novel
and one more thing why 35 mini EP and this much rush between scene.
as i say, originally i thought event of EP 7 will happened at EP 10 or EP 09
and also opening EP had a 2EP material, but they put all this material in one EP
so problem rise

actually i like this way, in drama one do not need to compliantly flow novel, by half way thing like DREAMING
problem for Legend of the Female General is productions did not modifies scene or He Yan character essence.

Screenwriter and Production made a horrible mistake,
in Original story He Yan had her BODY switch, that switch gives He Yan character development, essence of this character.
but they change that story line, at same time they did not modifies scene or He Yan character, at the same time they rushing to much between scene and event.
plot we are now, originally i thought it would at EP10.
this rush might slowdown from now on, BUT DAMAGE ALREADY IS DONE

i was hoping they skip scene1 EP6. it was fun to read, but it is one most ridiculous scene to see

it was good to see how they change BODY switch plot line.
but they forget to modify scenes which come with BODY switch plot line. this create some serious plot hole.
and what they did to opening plot, a 2EP plot line they put it into 35mini 1EP, A VERY BAD CHOICE. it could be very good opening, if they could use it properly.
i dont know how much it is effected over cast problem. but i think it is one of reason for 35mini EP

over all drama is good. but editing or scene sating is bad, especially upto EP 19. even though it get batter then, but way it was edited like NOW IT IS MYSTERY TIME, NOW IT IS ACTION TIME, NOW IT IS ROMANCE TIME.

SO, way things going, in the end THE LITTLE PRINCE WILL BE NEXT EMPEROR AND Yan Chi WILL BECOME HIS REGENT
