Love it when someone can see the characterization beyond what is just shown on the surface... thank you! I so agree. That is how people are in real life too... not everyone is a green flag that can act on what they "should do." Tim and Yu are two very different people by nature.

I don't wanna say many negative things because I do get most of the reasoning for why the characters are acting the way that they are, HOWEVER. I wish Tim actually... apologized? We know he's guilty and hurt, but he's hiding it behind the joking facade. Yes, actions speak louder than words, but sometimes a simple "sorry" and situational seriousness is needed too.

AND another thing that bothered me is the side comment he made about Pai living in his house rent free. I mean have some shameeee sir please 😭...

But, well, I hope we get more serious talks from TimPai in the next episode (which I'm looking foward to~~)

(PERSONALLY,) I wish Tim's fall was more dramatic lmao. The scalp is highly vascular, so even if it was a minor injury (not affecting the skull/brain), a small pool of blood would be plausible too. BUT THAT'S JUST ME 😭. Since they had the dramatic music and all, so I was expecting more than a bloody cut. But I get it... it's a romcom

Noooo they just finished filming this year (they started in the middle of last year). But I meant that the series was announced in 2022, when Net and Latte were in the cast. JJ and Kim joined the crew in 2024!

I wished so too! I need that whole scene uncut pleaseeee. But yes, I loved it either way; I felt like they both needed some closure, and that scene was perfect for it.

Hm, I actually really liked this episode. Again, I can't help but praise the balance in this drama. Makes me smile and cry :')

I feel like... Tim thinks his "fake" persona with Pai and his "real" self prior to meeting Pai are completely separate. But I think somewhere, during the time they were together, that persona blended into his actual self too. And I think Pai also loves Tim regardless. Like the time when Pai said he loved the way Tim was rude/blunt to his aunt and protective over Pai, even if he was surprised by Tim's outburst. They both have a lot to sort out regardless of whether they actually get divorced or not.

That hugging scene during their dinner was BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that JuniorMark doesn't need dialogue to convey their emotions. The way they were both crying (without the other necessarily knowing) was so painful. They were both obviously hurting.

Really looking forward to the next episodes because there is a looot to unpack and resolve. The pacing is so good right now.

I feel like I haven’t appreciated the Chinese wedding itself, enough. The red outfits looked amazing… it was probably one of my favorite wedding scenes ever. And that’s not me being biased. Everything was so pretty and done so so well. I felt like they took their time with the wedding preparations.

I also just found out they used a real wedding hall in Thailand, hired a real wedding planner, and a real wedding mc/officiant. So in my head, JuMark got married, not TimPai LMAO. (Markji even said that in their reaction video to ep7 😭).

I really don’t see how some people saw the ending scene as such. Pai is of similar build to Tim, if he really wanted out, he could’ve pushed him off when YuNorth interrupted them. Instead, you see him still clinging onto Tim even if Tim wasn’t actively holding him still.

I feel like you forgot that they’ve been together for over a year… so they’re comfortable with each other’s bodies. Besides, I didn’t interpret Tim’s gaze as “lustful” in that scene at all…

And finally. Pai (and North) are basically homeless and have no money now. Is it wrong for Tim (and Yu) to not want their loved ones to spend the night outside? Especially since the cousins are used to a luxurious life and it could be dangerous outside. Tim said he just wants to help Pai get back on his feet and they can take it from there.

Sorry if this sounded so defensive but I feel like the series is unfairly being taken at face value due to viewer expectations.

I see some people saying that Pai went out of character, forgave Tim too easily and that the angst was underwhelming. I just wanted to say that to me, he kept true to his character; he did not forgive Tim yet, and the angst is fitting for the series/genre. You have to remember that Pai is the type of person that keeps his own problems internalized but is protective/daring for those he loves.

That was the case for North. Pai was not okay with the fact that his cousin got scammed, and he was angry and protective. But also remember that despite this, he still kept it within his small circle (Tim, North, Yu, Nana). Another example is for Tim. Even if Tim lied to him, he still protected Tim in front of his grandfather, even if it meant he got disowned.

But he is the type to internalize his own problems and "pretend to be strong," like Tim says. You have to understand that Pai loves Tim. He is Pai's safe space, anchor, and the only person that understands him. Pai is internally conflicted because despite this, Tim did lie to him. And Tim told him directly that it might have started as a scam, but he really is in love with Pai now.

And besides... the previews show that they're still slowly working on their relationship. Pai isn't jumping back into "teerak" territory either... but god forbid a guy is hurt AND in love.

I'm so excited!! I've only been waiting for this series for about half a year.. but to think the cast and crew have waited 2-4 years already 🥹. I really think LUAT will be successful!!
