About ep 32: Personally, I think if you want anyone to remember a warning, you should give a reason so that it sticks. E.g., "Turning the handle of a pot in towards the stove" seems like a small matter, but could be a big deal if it was turned outwards and someone accidentally hits it, and the pot (hot or not) falls over. Even though LBY repeatedly warned her, he should still give her a reason so that it's clear to her how serious it is. Just telling her something vague like "Eastern palace is not as simple as you think", is too vague.
Plus, LBY giving NN a warning about avoiding the Crown prince and princess is even harder, given that NN is spending so much time with the empress. Obviously, she will want to help the empress, and it will be hard to avoid the empress's children, particularly the one that has expressed goodwill towards her. She probably believed that they were as kind as the empress. Even with the warning, how was she supposed to know her little words of comfort could cause such a big effect?
Also, I think NN is used to awful people being outright bad (e.g., 2nd aunt, Wang ling and LY's cousin, 3rd princess and 5th princess) and dealing with them. It makes sense that she is less cautious of people who shows kindness to her first, given her experience so far (e.g., 3rd aunt, empress). I don't think she is quite used to two-faced people like the crown princess and LJT just yet.
All in all, I think this boils down to communication issues and inexperience (romantic relationship for LBY and social relationship for NN).
Is anyone else trying to guess which lifetime each costume corresponds to?
Lifetime 1: Childhood sweetheart === my guess: ML in black with braid and ponytail Lifetime 2: Master-Disciple === my guess: ML in blue/light blue (hair down) Lifetime 3: Animal Lifetime 4: General and princess === my guess: ML in black armour (hair in bun) and FL in red Lifetime 5: Own body == my guess: ML in the blue and gold outfit Lifetime 6: ??? Lifetime 7: ???
For those who have read the novel: which lifetime did the ML have Silver hair? I don't remember that. Not sure if this really happened or if it's just part of the drama.
