I think one of the reasons I find this this drama so romantic is because we're watching the love between a married couple that is in love. As much fun as it is to watch a couple fall in love, this drama shows the trust, care and passion between a loving married couple.

Does anyone know what the deal is with ML's mother? Why is she so neglectful and cold towards ML?

I'm kind of confused, isn't the crown prince the second prince, but why do they call him the elder bro. Also, I really wished that Hao Jiao and the main wife teamed up together and beat his ass, as it's obvious that this ass is breaking down their self-esteem and self worth.

When I first saw her, I thought she was a white lotus and was going to be a villain. When she turned out to be FL's childhood friend and seemed genuinely kind, I was so glad I was wrong. Even though I thought her decision was wrong when she chose to be the 2nd prince's concubine, I also understood her, given her backstory. I also love how she was like, "I love myself the most" when she was with him. I was like, "yeah girl! Always protect yourself first" cause that man is obviously an arrogant jerk. But I had no idea he was that bad and degrading towards women. I'm worried that she might turn bad, which is going to be cliche.

I'm really worried about Hao Jia.

Next week is going to be intense. I think I'm going to hold off on next week's episodes and watch it all together in the following week's episode. I might watch just the previews, though.

OMG. Seeing how understanding and supportive CSS is with LBY's revenge, I can totally understand how disappointed she feels with LBY hiding his secret from her. Even more so, after the whole married couple is one episode.

Does this drama also show episode previews? I haven't been able to find any on youtube. Not sure if it doesn't, or I'm just not looking right

Pretty sure, she'll live. There is still the scene about her getting married in one of the earlier trailers.

The 5th princess is so spoiled. I doubt she's going to learn much despite her punishment.
The way she takes other's life so easily makes me wish the emperor punished her by sending her to the borderline with lots of battles and strict servants, so she learns not everything centers around her.

I think it has to do with habit. CSS is so used of taking care of things by herself and not relying on anyone. Sometimes you need to learn the hard-way or learn the consequences to change things.
