Very Enjoyable Mystery
This "cosy" mystery show has an overarching plot and is worth watching.Light categorization-type spoilers below:
Characters: Lots of smart, nice, hardworking, and/or eccentric folks in this show.
Friendships: Strong relationships modeled between folks of different ages and genders
Redemption Arc: Yup
Silliness: Only a sliver
Mysteries: As expected, this show has mysteries. The big plot has lots of threads and many opportunities for episode cliffhangers or things for you to wonder how it'll turn out. I particularly like some of the mechanics in the show for how they investigate and solve things.
Psychological horror/dark thriller: Nope
Jump Scares: None
Nihilism/Celebrated Grey Morals: No

Overall I really enjoyed this show so much, and definitely recommend it to fans of this genre.
I do feel that I missed some of the pacing, style, and mystery-ness in the later episodes compared to the beginning. The actual last episode was also a bit abrupt in delivery of the ends of a couple more minor plot threads. If it weren't for those two factors, this would have been a full 10 for me.
