It hasn’t yet reached the high expectations I had, but it’s only getting better. I know it’s a very specific genre, but the viewership in Korea and even this rating here on Dramalist is a crime. From the OST, direction, and acting, it would at least be an 8.5 right now, but if it continues like episode 4 in the next episodes, it will definitely be higher than 8.5.
The actress really played a girl kissing for the first time, lol. She didn’t know what to do, seemed a bit lost, and that actually made the scene even more beautiful. I’ve seen K-dramas where the girls have never kissed before, and when they do for the first time, it’s almost a full-on French kiss. Lol
Seriously, it's hard to like Cha Tae Ung. Yes, it's possible to feel sympathy for his backstory, but he's not a likable character—he's annoying and often totally contradictory. Seo Gang Ju is more likable, like in the script he wrote in college that Da Rim described as 'a jerk, but he's charming and lovely,' and his expressions when speak or something unexpected happens are really funny, lol.
No, you got it confused, lol. In summary, the episodes are the same length as the last drama with 50 episodes; you can compare them. The reduction didn’t change the length of the episodes.
I thought it would be 1 hour and 25 minutes as listed, and I was wondering why they cut the episodes that are usually 50, but the episodes aren’t 1 hour and 25 minutes, they are 1 hour and 5 minutes, which is normal. It doesn’t explain the cut to 36. Beauty and Mr. Romantic had 50 episodes, and this one, with just the first two promising episodes, already deserved 51 episodes, even if it gets worse. Beauty and Mr. Romantic had 50, lol
Writer with the greatest love triangles in wok of love and jealousy incarnate, not sure my heart can handle CTJ…
I haven't watched the dramas you mentioned, but from the two episodes... I think she only sees him as a 'brother,' and if it becomes something more, I think it would be strange since she basically, unconsciously, 'waited' all these years for the other guy. Nothing happened between her and CTJ during that time, so it would be weird, but it's a K-drama. I think a love triangle with her sister would make more sense.
Sincerely, I understand that in K-dramas many 'coincidental' meetings between the couple happen, but... Mi Rae and Tae Pyeong are just too much, it's way too forced. I've never skipped scenes in dramas, but with them, I do. I'm not talking about chemistry; I'm talking about their encounters being way too forced. Other dramas have this, but it's better executed. What are the chances of finding someone crying in the rain late at night? Not to mention that he always finds her whenever she's in trouble, without any apparent reason—just mere coincidence
