Thanks for highlighting this. I can speculate that DFCG got engulfed by evil spirit. XLH was going to use her power as godess. But these scene are not done at the same time. I think the earlier part is the finale. The upcoming one will be Rong Hao wanted to retrive the godness power for his master. Chang He wanted to protect XLH. They all failed as XLH commited death ... Rong Hao managed to revive his master. DFCG and CH were devastated. And i am like Rong Hao, are you happy???!!

i cherish every scene of them.
