I also really love how her parents spirit was behind her in the power scene. Very touching I reckon.. It wasn't…
Yes. I agree. I think the parents were behind her. They were always protecting her. I really wish XLH knew of her roots soon. so that she won't say she is always alone, with no parents. But the massacre that happened might stained her.

--- TT I need to go back to studying --

spoken like a true fan. laughs, I love this drama. I can empathise with all of them. I see myself doing the same thing and may not even do the thing XLH was able to do in episode 25 !

Everything so well summarised. The most important is the script. This one is logical, takes time to develop our…
Yes! Exactly! I can see how DFCG fall in love. I can empathize so much with all characters. It had been so long I bawled for a drama.

In Episode ten, I was pleasantly surprised. Esther Yu’s happiness was so contagious when she thought she was…
Lastly, I appreciate the first 26 episodes, it made my life more colourful, in the midst of my stressful period before exam. I can’t wait for the last part. The reason I wrote this, is so that I finally can concentrate on my study materials.

I wish to be like Xiao Lan Hua, who has strength and wisdom embodied in her character.
She understood everyone has their flaws and their strength. She was open minded enough until to be in a great dilemma when Dong Fang Cing Cang wanted to destroy her home. She didn’t threaten Dong Fang Cing Cang to give up on his desire, because she knew how important it was to him. She had the bravery to cut ties with Dong Fang Cing Cang. I really wish more people will be like Xiao Lan Hua, who made do with whatever she had. A world is not black nor white, it is shades of grey and Xiao Lan Hua made it easier to live in this shades of greay.

Xiao Lan Hua, recorded the whole scene was brilliant when she refute back Xun Feng’s words. I see a strong, wise Xiao Lan Hua. I saw DFCG slowly and knowingly falling in love with her. She most likely had fall in love with him. The mortal realms arch was teasing our patience. She can’t be true to her feeling, due to conflicted emotions. She understood why DFCG needs to do what he needs to do. I really pity Xiao Lan Hua. The mortal realms arch created an opportunity for both the Fairy realms and Moon Tribe to understand one another. The background story of Lord Rong Hao made me pity him. A villain that you can understand why, he had to do what he had to do. A villain which is humane. He did save Chang He. I could only pray nobody will be a second Rong Hao.

As much as I love the cast and their acting, I think the one that deserve all the praise is actually the script writer and the director. Today, I forced my best friend to watch the first episode with me again. I noticed that the flower decoration on Xiao Lan Hua bloomed when she was happy.

Certain certain details are so important.
Once in the earlier episode, Xiao Lan Hua gave the example of Daqiang being the honey after a bitter medicine. They brought it up again when Xiao Lan Hua gave DFCG in his place the bitter medicine. He treated her as the honey.
In episode 10, Xun Feng refused to great DFCG properly with respect, but he did in later episode. The symbol behind it. The beauty behind it.
It is hard to not see the lessons about war and its devastating aftermath, the lessons about grief, the delicately woven story, which slowly bring in the main conflict, was the blood, sweat and tears of the director and the script writer.

I love the drama also explored about war by portraying a village filled up with widows. And that is why I love this drama. Majority is the writing behind it.

When DFCG took of his ring to feel Lan Hua’s emotion, I felt …. Yes you go boy. You deserve it. Go and learn to be happy. In life, there is also sadness. The next arch was great. Lan Hua was determined to understand the old Lord (DFCG’s father). I really felt her resilience was admirable. Her questions were on point. She believed her theory and tried to formulate her theory with proof and took the risk to ask the old Lord herself. The scene between DFCG and his father was great. The emotions were raw. I cried. I cried so much. I felt the regret when the ball was not kicked back. The old Lord has his very valid reason, and I could tell how much he wished for an alternative way. He like Chang He, had no choice but to put his people first, then his son second. DFCG each words in the dialogue was true. There is no way he can forgive him, immediately. I love love that he said he choose not to kill the old lord’s spirit and he choose to brave the sadness/ regret he had from killing his father than to choose to forget his happy memories with his father.

You know a drama is good, when it teaches you life lesson. In grief, you need to overcome it, in hopes of remembering the precious time you have. When it ended, it ended. Be it a romantic relationship, death of a close one. The broke down scene later on, made me bawled. I cried again, so much.

- Taking out my mechanical keyboard. Giving myself 30 minutes to gush over this drama with the OST of this drama…
In Episode ten, I was pleasantly surprised. Esther Yu’s happiness was so contagious when she thought she was at home. DFCG’s face light up. Sometimes, something, you don’t need words to paint their feeling. I felt so bad, when DFCG’s hurt face came up in a few minutes later. Literally, I think this drama is putting my emotions on a bipolar mood. DFCG is so hurt, and he is still literally immature handling his hurt. He decided to hurt Lan Hua back. All the characters here are so well build, complex, and multiple layers.

Esther’s character is so resilience and she is so smart. This drama made me confused as to who I adore more. The body swap episodes are great. It is vital for both the leads especially Lan Hua to understand DFCG. How he lived. How he couldn’t even trust Shang Yue. How monotonous his life is. He perceiving the world and everyone around it, as someone he could’t trust nor depend on. At one point, I rather be Lan Hua. The thing is, DFCG had also learnt a few things from the body swap. He learnt he could at least trust Shang Yue, and I was really glad Lan Hua eventually choose to save DFCG by swapping back. Sometimes, in life, action speaks louder than word. Lan Hua did something others had never for him. My heart also jumped out of the ribcage with the forced kiss. In real life though, if this happened to me, it better be someone of DFCG caliber. LOL.

- Taking out my mechanical keyboard. Giving myself 30 minutes to gush over this drama with the OST of this drama playing at the background.-

I didn’t expect myself to follow this drama so closely. I was tired after a day of studying. And watched first 6 episodes of the drama. Little did I know what was in store for me.

Initially, the story was pleasing to the eyes. The small small details in the CGI made me appreciate it more. The female lead lady, is just like any other next door girl. Character was believable. Male lead didn’t fall head in at first sight. Laughs. I like that the male lead, even though was the strongest in all three realms, was also normal in the Arbiter Hall.

First 5 episodes --- was a blur in my mind. Can’t remember much of it, meaning it doesn’t create a strong impression. It was fun to watch the character set up of the female lead. How she is strong in her own way. She knows what she wanted and will work hard for it. Something I myself could learn. I love it when she can’t even catch the animal right in front of her eyes even though Shang Yue placed it right in front of her. DFCG was of course speechless. First 5 episodes, you get the feeling, Ah … this is lighthearted. I was a bit irritated by the second male lead, Chang He by him playing it safe. You dummy.

The pivotal change, I guess was at episode 9 when Lan Hua was brutally questioned. Well, the CGI and the declaration and the prowess of DFCG was spectacular. I rewatched that a lof of time. But to my surprise, in one episode, the other scene which involved Chang He and DFCG was more spectacular too. I think my rewind button was out of order as of now. I can see the desperation Chang He had, and how DFCG was about to lose his temper when they faught. Chang He’s actor is good. I feel his desperation, and DFCG is really smart. He threatened Chang He with SuiYuTian’s safety. This episode, I told myself, I need to see more emotional scene of Chang He.
