I think because it has only 8 episodes and also they are very short, stories are quick. about avoiding part, if you communicate with Japanese people, thats how they "act" if they get mad or disappointed and of course scene was highlighting that, it's written by Japanese person so it couldn't be different I think. but I hope they will solve their problems by the last episode or we will be disappointed:(
