I watched this and I thought it was good,but I guess some people didn't like it,I'm not calling anyone out in particular but there's two reasons that I noticed some people didn't like it they either compared it too much to Strong Woman BongSoon and were disappointed it wasn't like the first series. Second reason I noticed was because of the villain, for some reason a lot of people liked the villain and were upset NamSoon didn't get with him and he died,just go on tiktok and read the comments. Like I said I'm not calling anyone out these are just the reasons I noticed that people didn't like the drama just check out edits on tiktok and YouTube and read comments

There’s a webtoon available I wish there was an actual book I would read it provided there was English translation

Maybe a revenge thriller where he's the protagonist getting revenge for his murdered wife that way he could still be a good person, but he can tap into his dark side against the villains. That type of drama would be good

What does everyone think of the lead for the female? It will be the first time he’s older than his love interest he’s either younger or the same age.

I think this is the first time I’ve heard of a Kdrama having over 200 episodes, I thought 176 was a lot, but 248 wow that’s a lot. I wonder what aired after this one aired back when it was on

They could make it about Chung Doong it would be different because it’s a male not a female apparently he might be the only male in the family with the strong gene since it’s only carried by the females of the family, but he somehow ended up with the gene

it’s not categorised as romance it’s action, crime,comedy ,family drama if you went in expecting it to be a romance that’s on you, the romance wasn’t even the main focus it was just a small part of the overall plot.

The first one had crime too ,a seriel killer kidnapping and killing girls and he was creepy .

I don’t doubt his acting , I’m sure he nailed the role, aesthetically speaking his features in my opinion lend themselves well to the more romantic roles than the dark roles . But hey that’s just me and I’m only one person plus I’m used to him in the romantics protagonist orphan/or just lost a parent role .

Yeah I’m not watching VIP because of the subject matter and I read it was graphic I don’t do graphic, it’s the same reason I didn’t watch Squid Game. VIP is the only drama of his I refuse to watch it’s not even because he’s a villain because he was a villain in Decibel and I watched that .

Both those dramas had romance in it, actually most of his popular dramas with the exception of School 2013 had romance in it . Except VIP he played a serial killer which I only know this because i read reviews and the synopsis but will never watch.

In an interview when he was in his twenties i think he said based on translations that he mostly gets cast in romantic roles because he has soft features so he looks like more of the romantic type, I think his aesthetics he fits more in the romantic category than the villain category and yes I know he’s a villain in VIP, but reading reviews of the movie and people always seem to say the same thing, ‘Oh, he’s so cute, I love his smile’ forgetting the fact that he’s playing a serial killer. So aesthetically he’s not the villain type some actors are good at playing villains they look like villains and some actors are better at playing the nice characters and some can do both.
