I really like this postitivity, and I respect your opinion, I agree with some facts but if yangsoo kill your friends,…
as far as i know, yeongsoo killing everyone didn't happen in the webtoon, and the writers of the kdrama sadly changed that. in the webtoon only like 4 died because of him. and while i can understand his character and the fact that he went crazy, i never said i like him. we have to understand that like 10 months before he did that, he lived a normal life like everyone else, and he has a dream he wanted to achieve, then suddenly the end of the world came. his actions are not excusable, but you can see where it is coming from because everything happened so suddenly and him losing his mind makes sense. (does not excuse anything still, but it makes sense) not everyone reacts the same to such a big event, and they were still kids at the end of the day.
I agree with you so much, I forced myself to finish the show because I wanted to see where the scene in the beginning would be, and was greatly disappointed by it.
Most of what you said resonates with me, however I am someone who enjoys more dark themed historical kdramas, and I was extremely happy when it turned that way in part 1, but part 2 did not do any justice to the part 1 plot about the war with Qing, which, once more, disappointed me.
Yeon Jun was also my most hated character in the show, I could not understand any of his actions, he did so many stupid things as someone who acts and wishes to be a scholar, it made no sense.
I am glad I am not the only person who did not like this show that much.
I think that's the problem with the series. It lacked a lot of depth. lol Good ideas, but shallow result thanks…
i think you misunderstood my comment. i didnt say the story didnt have depth, i meant that fact that the end was what it was doesnt mean that the show is shit. the ending made sense, it was obviously sad and traumatising, but not every series needs a happy ending, yk?
