Not terrible, but possibly the single most overrated BL of all time.
Pran particularly is one of the most annoying “tsundere” characters I’ve watched in BL. Even after he literally f***s Pat, he still rebuffs Pat’s cheek pecks like they’re perversions instead of the most basic form of romantic affection. This is less “enemies to lovers” and more “enemies to one lover (Pat) and one guy (Pran) who can seemingly barely tolerate the other.”
Nothing happens in this story. Like a lot of BLs it’s thin on story/plot (a really basic retelling of Romeo & Juliet), but the couple is so busy hiding their relationship from their friends and family, and Pran is so busy burying his feelings for Pat, that it feels like nothing happens. BL dramas either need to be plot-heavy, or we need to see significant development of the relationship (skinship, romance etc.) and we get basically neither in BB.
Possibly the most overrated kiss in BL history (not quite fish-lipped, but definitely not 🔥) and, like I said before, Pran never drops the reticent, passive-aggressive tsundere schtick, even in the face of being relentlessly pursued by golden-retriever-coded Pat.
To top it off OhmNanon have managed to succeed GulfMew as the most toxic, deranged, delulu fanbase in the history of BL, who have possibly destroyed the actors’ friendship (at least publicly) and are on track to sideline Ohm’s career with their continued behaviour.
