Tbh, this plot is overdone, and I hate when someone so shallow and hurts her friend for a man. While I love Zee, and it's a great cast, I will probably skip this one.

I was just telling someone this morning there was no movement. I love Chinese dramas because they never really leave us hanging they always give us a conclusion and I wanted one for this. Yang Yang could still pull this off.

zee has been playing in three other series, one where he played a a-hole, and the other ones i havent seen but…
I know I saw that! But they are coming out with a new drama soon. They are teasing it and the writer just followed each other on twitter. Exciting times!

I heard rumor that there's gonna be a season 2👀
It wasn't really that bad, I have seen far worse. I think her voice to grating if I watched too many at one time was the worst of it.

I love Payu and Rain. Super Super excited for Sky and Prapai story, like the way he was asking for Sky number…
I love that part, it was pay back for telling Payu about Ple.

I am currently watching the series on IQIYI and I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I am. If it keeps going like this, it might make my top 10.

My rating was because I loved Yang Yang in this drama. His CP was terrible. She spent half her time trying to keep her lips tightly closed and, if she could, as far as possible from him. There is one thing to be demure and innocent. It's a whole other to struggle even to do the romantic parts. You could see her physically jump whenever his lips touched hers. I can say that Yang Yang did a fantastic job giving us some heat without her. I hoped that once they married, we would get one good scene, but even after they married, the kisses were terrible on her part while Yang Yang tried to give us something. She should not have taken this part if she was so opposed to kissing. I did, however, watch the movie of this and found that the FL in the film gave us the heat that I wanted to see here

I get ur point completely! I watched en of love n read the books too !! This version was more drama based as u…
I agree that Vee is misunderstood. People tend to hate his character which I never understood. I think it was his path of maturity, growth, and sexual realization for Vee. Vee was never good at navigating a relationship, if you take a moment to watch he is very insecure in his feelings and childish and needs validation. I think that made his character unlikable to some, but to me, it made him more viable as Mark's love interest. Nothing is ever secure when you are on a path of self-discovery and I think Yin Anan Wong did a great job portraying that. Mark was already established in his sexuality and sense of self, he had already been in a relationship and was secure in his sexuality but had his bad experience with relationships and rejection. Vee was just beginning to discover that side of himself (having a man as a life partner). If we could have a second season where their relationship grows, develops, and moves to the next level. I think people will see why Vee is the perfect match for our cynical, emotionally volatile mark, who needs someone to temper his anger and bring that soft light into his life. In En of Love: Love Mechanics Forth was not a viable partner for Mark being a player and knowing it. However, in the new Love Mechanics, the character portrayed here could have given Vee a run for his money if Mark didn't have his feelings vested in Vee already. As you said they changed a lot of the dynamic in this version and don't give that point of view that you get from the first version. I agree with what you said Vee becomes a better person for Mark in the new one. I haven't yet processed the insecure Mark and confident Vee scenario in the new one. But you could see the security immediately when he saw what Vee was doing for their future. But I think it will be great for the ones that say Vee was not right for Mark to see what he can become.
I would like to see Xu Kai Cheng and Zhao Lu Si in another drama but more intense. Something that brings out the chemistry and some angst. I think a fierce drama would make the chemistry off the charts! Because the villain had chemistry with Zhao Lu Si's character, maybe a drama for Ren Hao and Zhao Lu SI too, lol! I guess while this was fun, cute and cookie cutter, I want more

I think Cheng Xiao did an amazing job here. In the drama Falling into your Smile it was more young adult relationship and great for her beginning drama career cast. The E-Sports drama was geared to draw the young and very vanilla. Where in this drama was an adult relationship with adult problems. I enjoyed her in this drama. She did an amazing job portraying a complex character even when the script writers through curve balls she came through it with hard work and determination. You can see that projected in every scene she does which can create those moments people are talking about. I am becoming really impressed with her, watching her grow she will be right up with the best of them in no time. Yes the chemistry was not super hot but enough of the sweet moments to give us our feel good moments. However, I would love to see her in a drama with Wang Yibo I bet they would sizzle on set. They know each other, comfortable with each other, playful and care about each other so it would be a perfect storm for us who want to see her progress into a full, well rounded actress. For those saying things about Xiao closed expressions, she is a stoic person when she is on her guard, becomes open, fun, free, playful and sassy when she is comfortable. I think her stoic persona that she uses to deflect things, and protect herself in real life was perfect for this drama and could take full advantage of her own experience in life to project solid acting for this drama. Lets all remember she is young and is still maturing and learning. Was it perfect, no. But you can see the potential.
