Yeah I’ve seen so many comments in various places saying poor Alan and that Wen is trash, and I’m just like, “Bro, we know nothing yet!” I’m adoring this series and how well it’s portraying the complexities of human life and relationships. The acting is really fantastic. Truly a gem 💎

That’s a completely normal reaction then for you. There’s nothing wrong with that! But it is a very common thing that happens all the time, and the complications & emotions that can come the morning and the days after are what the show is *really* about. This is why that scene was shown at the start. 😸

Earth is absolutely KILLING me in some of these shots. The cinematography, lighting, direction… everyone is looking incredible. I’m so impressed with the aesthetics. I would watch it for that alone. On top of that, I’m seeing real adults with real life situations, dealing with complex emotions, and I cannot wait to watch it all unfold. I’m trying not to overhype but I think it’s safe to say the 2022-2023 season of GMMTV has ushered in a new era based on the current programs.

@BlueSky7887 I think the above user may have been referencing all of the AV media that has been circulating about the series for over a year. The teasers and trailers all made it pretty clear exactly how Episode 1 was going to go, but I completely understand what you’re saying about how that’s not the case when reading just the synopses and other written summaries and intros. For many people watching this now, they’ve been following along for the AV tidbits for the past year, so many of us have been really excited to see how GMMTV (which normally shies away from such adult concepts in BL) would handle this. I think it will be worth watching for you to see how the youngest couple’s relationship plays out, and I’m hopeful about his relationship with his uncle as well. I hope you can at least appreciate the drama and quality of the rest of the show, even if it’s not all to your liking. Happy watching! 📺

This is good advice. I only watched one of them out of curiosity, but it was one I knew would be good. I’ll go back and do that.
