Sorry but I'm a bit baffled by comments saying that Ray's cross-dressing is not explained. For me, it was clear. He was trying to please the guy he was dating: (1) The guy's first text says: "Remember to wear the clothes I gave you" which turns out to be a miniskirt, (2) At the cafe, Ray says "I'm wearing the lipstick you gave me", (3) the guy has a girlfriend (or two not sure LOL). So Ray's cross-dressing is because (a) the guy doesn't want to be seen as dating with another man and (b) Ray is prepared to do anything because he wants desperately to have someone (He says to Ye Guang that he envies his black tea angel). Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think there's need for more explanation.

I'm not so sure because they ended up singing "Slow motion" which is the song his father sang in ep3. Also, in the youtube video, the subtitles are slightly different from the ones in gaga. In youtube, both English and Spanish add "all" so in English is "Dad's songs are all good" and in Spanish is "Todas las canciones de papá son buenas". That's why his mother then says "Pick a song that feels right for you". BTW, totally agree about the quality of translations, sometimes I read something and go Uh???

I just noticed that in ep8 at 13:26 the subtitles in English and in Spanish are different. In English, Xu Qi Zhang says "Dad's songs are too hard for us" but in Spanish he says "Dad's songs are good" (Las canciones de papá son buenas). Which one is right?

YES to 1 above. I'm totally confused with the fuss around "becoming boyfriends". As you mentioned, I suspect it may have a different connotation in Thai and would really like someone to explain it to me

I know EarthMix fans will burn me alive but if Earth starts to sigh constantly like he did in 1000stars I will stop watching this series. A well-placed sigh can deliver strong emotions but he does it all the time! In the airport scene of 1000stars, which lasts for about 12-15 minutes, he sighs 9 times! I counted them! It’s a bad acting habit which I find distracting and irritating. Hope someone told him to stop…OK, now you can start the fire.

Agreed. Many Thai BL tend to redeem nasty characters: Korn's father in Until We Meet Again or Tin's brother in Love by Chance 2. Even Pran's mother and Pat's father in Bad Buddy don't deserve the happy ending they got

Loved this series but, honestly, felt the last episode was too contrived. The need to pretend seems unnecessary since it's clear their parents knew. If they had stopped at ep 11, they could have made a very interesting season 2, especially since the series won a couple of big awards. What a missed opportunity!
