My first time reading a original novel of a drama just because I'm sooooo curious about the ending after they came out from book. And IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD!!! OMG

I would love to see Zhang San stand in front of Wang Cuihua's house with a bucket of flowers, waiting for her to come home on the first day after she came out of book!!

But the drama ending is good enough, personally, just to make me curious to read the original story myself and imagine the scene in my own version!

Finished this for the kiss lol those were some rare sight in c-drama these days. I wonder how the passed the censorship. I gave up on the story anyway so if you're curious, just watched ep 17 & 19 for the hot kisses 😁

Well, still, this is the best c drama I've seen this year so far. Still haven't found a 10 yet tho.

It started and went on as a 10. But it felt rushed towards the end. Likewise, the identity reveal was disappointing to me. It didn't come out as satisfying considering the effort to hide it. Also, another prince suddenly appear just to kill the king. Like, the emperor is the worst but he's a father figure to the ML so let's just kill him without involving any of the main characters because killing an emperor can be a treason and it would add new problem but we don't have that much episode left. 😌

Catching up from the break up on ep 32 and concluding that it didn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was already wounded from watching lovely runner so maybe that's why it feels more okay. Well, but still GYX crumbling expression plus the well-matched backsound is making me speechless.
I'll continue later after finished.
