Great Start, Rushed Finish — Still Worth It
I finished this drama in just two days without skipping a single scene — that's how hooked I was. Up until episode 10, it had me completely absorbed. The pacing, the emotion, the chemistry between Cho Yi-hyun and Choo Young-woo — all of it was just so good. I genuinely couldn’t bring myself to hate any character, not even Yeomhwa, who initially got on my nerves but later broke my heart. And Bong-su? Don’t even get me started… 😭
That said, I do think episodes 11 and 12 fell short. Episode 11, in particular, felt all over the place — rushed and slightly chaotic — and episode 12 tried to pull it together but didn’t land quite as strongly as I hoped. The show had so much potential, and I wish it had been longer. It deserved more time to breathe, especially towards the end.
Still, the drama was refreshing and unique, especially in how it handled Korean shamanism. The friendship between Gyeon U and Ji Ho was one of my favorite parts — so natural and well-written. Definitely worth watching if you're into fantasy romance with heart, humor, and a bit of spiritual flair.
