He was in jail for sometime but then a year has been passed as we know there was another entrance exam which seulgi was going to give, so he was freed ! His crime according to media was illegally obtaining the tough question for the exam and killing a person, so he got freed but that makes me question the authority of korean laws like only this short time of jail for a murder?
We can always imagine that ! That's what I am doing at least, in my head they got a happy ending and I think the dad is still outside the seulgi's house because I think he believes Je yi's not dead yet and maybe Seulgi might know about that ! That's just my theory.

Great acting by Lee Hyeri and soo bin, I loved the drama a lot ! I just casually started watching it, had no idea I would be this invested and watch a drama on air when I have my own "College Entrance examination for Medical" is upcoming in less than 2 months haha lol !! I will make it Je yi and try to get a full score 🤣 But honestly I am glad I watched it
Ahhhhhh the last episode was really satisfying !!! I cried when they could not find Je yi even though I knew she is alive as she was learning to hold her breath underwater !! I loved choi gyeong and ye ri in this episode ! And that drug dealer guy getting surrounded by parents was hilarious ! The dad's reality came in front of people was good to see, what's satisfying is that according to this ending only Seulgi knows that Je yi is alive, and her father will never know, that's the best part of it. I loved the episode, the wait was worth it !!!! Also the ending was better than any cliffhanger we were expecting !
