✩  🎀  𝓒𝓾𝓻𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓸𝓫𝓼𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷  🎀  ✩ Joy of Life Season 1 and 2 is now one of my all time favourite shows. I don't have the words to express how much I adore this show. Its the characters that stand out to me. Especially Fan Xian, he's vulnerable, arrogant, callous, impulsive, hilarious, sweet, gentle. I cannot take my eyes off from the screen once he walks in. It's such a perfect show, filled with plot twists and mystery and martial arts.

This novel-within-a-novel contains subtle references to people and situations in  Venery , however it's not necessary to have read the series beforehand.  Trueblood Cay  can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone.
