How can viewers expect Xiang Liu to be together with Xiao Yao when his adopted father is a fanatic of the doomed Chen Rong kingdom?

Xiang Liu is dead loyal to his adopted father unless someone kills the latter. Then, Xiang Liu will kill the person and ends up with Xiao Yao.
