This is based on all intel I have in hand at that time: even the Kings of Hao Ling and Xiyan dare not touch Tushan Jing because they need his banks for funds.

At this point, Xiao Yao only promised to give TSJ 15 years to work out his plan and return to her as Ye Shi Qi. Seeing how cool Xiang Liu was at that time, I would happily break the promise I had just made.

The soldiers of Hao Ling Kingdom- I could utilise my poison to break through the formation.

So, abandoning TSJ to save my own skin and be with Xiang Liu would deem a smart move.

Xiang Liu was spectacular in that episode!

If I were Xiao Yao, I would tell myself to f*** it all and jump into the ocean with him leaving TSJ behind and live happily ever after with XL!

I would then think of a plan on how to get rid of his dumb loyalty for his adopted father's fantasy later!

Watch the drama first until it finishes. Then, read the novel.

Otherwise, you'd end up fast forwarding some scenes in the drama which are unfair to the actors.
