goshhh should i watch this now?? so who's the endgame in the novel??
CX becomes the emperor of a united kingdom (Xi Yan and Hao Ling) XL and FL die TSJ and XY are married and leave Xi Yan forever although they promise to stay in touch
I feel sorry for XL/ FFB. He sometimes kills for money when the soldiers run out of supply. So, it's not exactly…
Spot on. XL is a tragic figure in this drama:
- He never knew who his parents were from the moment he was hatched from the egg - He had to fight in order to survive when he was a slave - He is now fighting a losing battle for the sake of paying back the kindness of his adopted father - He loves XY but he cannot get involved with her knowing that one day he is forever tied up to his adopted father's kindness
XL should have seized the moment when he sabotaged XY's marriage and just told the adopted father that he had done enough and would love to enjoy his spring time after making a deal with TSJ to supply the losing troops for the next 37 years!

XY was being insensitive with XL. So, I find XY lack of empathy in this episode.
Unlike the drama, Gone With The Rain. That one's ending deserves a tweak.
Grandma is the issue at the moment.
Poor CX. He just cannot stand Xin Yue.
Fei Fei's song!
I feel sorry for Xiang Liu for being poor. Xiao Yao was cruel to him by joking with him about his lack of money.
