It is a masterpiece and is definitely better than TPOB, in my opinion.

The plot where Wei Qu retrieving Wei Liang's dead body is a bit unrealistic.

Wei Liang is too heavy for Wei Qu.

And, WQ losing his arm? That was unnecessary.

Liu Yan deserves to die as well as his Madam Yu Lou. That woman killed herself in the end!

Wei Yan being the hero who saved Yujun was unexpected.

Zhuang Zixin is a victim of this revenge. I hope he will be spared from his father's evil deeds.

The story gets wrapped up rather quick.

I really can't stand the FL anymore! Episode 20 she knew she couldn't fight against the assassins and yet, she got off the carriage to save her fu jun?!!!

Zang Hai is very slow motion when it comes to the climax and I was very sceptical about it but it gradually warmed up to me!

The best drama in this year? I think it is.

TPOB could have been one easily but Wei Liang's silly scenes and occassionally Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao's(making her faces) have completely pushed this drama off my favourite list.

The novel is definitely better for TPOB. Just like The General and I (the novel is definitely the best especially the scene when they first met!). A good start but it gradually gets on my nerve.

Liu Yan is either an idiot or he can't small or see something is definitely wrong with that woman.

I find it so frustrating unlike Legend of Zang Hai which I can't wait for it to air although it has lack of romance. This kind of drama is really a good drama thanks to the scriptwriter and director.

I certainly can't stand the drama version. Too long-winded and unnecessary scenes. Badly written in my opinion. Draggin issues are present in this drama.

Had the scriptwriter compressed other parts of the novel into the script, it would have been better.

At first, I rated this drama to be a 9. But, now, it probably only deserves 8. Rewatching value is probably none for me after reaching episode 31, I've concluded. The first five episodes are awesome but the remaining aren't worth getting rewatched.

Legend of Zang Hai has a better flow and less silly storylines.

TPOB is getting on my nerve now with their slow romance. I mean it's only a consummation of their marriage so why does it have to take up to 31 episodes to make it happen?!!!

In the novel, it didn't even take that long for Wei Shao to screw Xiao Qiao! Mind my language!

The comedy scenes by Wei Liang are no longer necessary as the show progresses but the production team keeps having silly scenes.

I mean there are other good side stories to be included. Even in the novel, there is no Xiao Tao in presence except Chunniang.

This drama had a good start but it is beginning to lose its appeal with its slow motion romance between Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao.

At least, the novel isn't as frustrating as the drama is when it comes to their romance.

Actually, this couple are more interesting due to their plot against Wei State.

I am beginning to feel bored with Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao's slow motion romance. This drama definitely suffers from the dragging effect.

It should end at 30 episodes, not 36.

I am currently watching the Legend of Zang Hai and find the storyline rather smooth and no dragging issues have yet to be experienced.
