We getting all the cameos in this series with gawin, thor and sing😭 one thing I've learned these 5 eps is that my man Wave is HORNY af for Lava cuz boy was tryna pounce on him any chance he got and honestly I respect it😭😭 both uncle and nephew on the other hand are going through emotional turmoil and giving eo advice while also NOT following it themselves (which is so frickin real tbh).

One thing I do love about the show is the characters are consistent in every aspect, like how wave wanted the kid to learn music bcuz he thinks he should follow his passion as that makes him happy, ofc bcuz he's born rich, he doesn't really understand the other side which Lava points out, poor ppl often can't pursue their passion bcuz they need to earn enough to survive first.

I like that the argument they had made sense (bcuz often it just doesn't in these series lmao). Both wave and lava had good reasons to be mad at each other, wave was being too clingy to lava who's never had anyone sticking by his side so he feels he's not ready while lava pushes wave away right after sleeping with him which makes him feel like he's worth only that much even though lava is his whole world right now. Lava was given his space, wave was given his words of affirmation we love it!
Also I loved the acting during this whole fight scene, it felt like I was interruping and wanted to give them space lmao. Incoming the jealousy arc next(?)

Maybe bcuz now that wave is out of the picture, there's no heir to the throne and im guessing victor's dad is like the military general or whtvr so he just took over cuz now ppl will question and he can turn ppl against the king to make his son the next in line?? I mean this happens often in stories right, i could be wrong

I feel like we've barely seen any (good) acting from winny that's why he's forgettable lol, satang has improved and we've seen diff styles from him through we are, msp and now this cuz the characters are very different but winny has had the same character archetype😭 I think this one is also kinda similar but maybe we'll see more range since it's a lead role (I hope). He kinda reminds me of Phuwin's when he acts (not a compliment).

The show was advertised as a cute lil show with a simple plot to make ppl's day brighter and it achieved that for many... I think it's ok to love simple shows like this, we don't always want to watch the most heart wrenching or mind twisting shows. I love all the shows you mentioned but that doesnt make this series bad.

I definitely understand this bcuz I'm so scared now, will my babies finally be happy next ep😭😭 i need lots of cute moments to heal my heart but idk if there's enough time cuz they still have to solve the idol contract issue

People really can never be satisfied... last episode people were upset they didn't show us everything kangmoo went through throughout the year and now thst we got that... they are upset that the episode was a waste 😭 they can't just skip all that. Also kang can't just get together with moo now that he's an idol, the main issue remains unsolved still, I understand him, even though my heart really hurt for Moo the whole episode... I hope we can see the lil cheesy flirty moo again next episode to heal my heart from all this crying😭
Also guys, hate Shone not kang... my boy has rejected shone twice already but he can't seem to catch a hint😔 shone should be comforting moo, not stealing his man (idc if it's been 6 months, it's still nasty cuz they both clearly haven't moved on still) i hope moo kicks his ass next ep (probably won't happen cuz moo is too understanding)
Also, at this point... will TaePayos really get together? Even next episode the angst doesnt seem to end.

They better make next ep 1 hour long and give me lots of cute, happy kangmoo moments or I'll be upset🥹

All these people being mad must not be kpop stans cuz some of the things fans and the company do are so out of this world evil, being an idol is literally slavery (in most cases) and they fr expected 18 and 30 year old kangmoo to break the damn industry like be so fr rn😭😭

I dont think people accept the rule, everyone that saw these past 2 episodes are talking about how dumb the rules are but does that change anything? The industry is still the same, this is still happening... what was shown in the series is very mild, in reality, fabs would be outraged, burning down posters, sending death threats, stalking the idol and his partner, msybe even physically harrasing them... up until now no one has been able to solve this problem bcuz it's something the industry is build upon... making idols seem untouchable, godly in a way, they aren't human (this isn't my opinion but something that happens with fans irl

Other approaches mentioned like changes in the contract by executives, fans being supportive are something that would never happen irl, the harms of parasocial relationships and it's utilisation by the industry are topics that have been discussed since forever but why would the industry stop when it has worked in their favor so far? Also let's not just judge the series just yet, they could surprise us in the last 2 eps.

Also Moo has always been shown as a determined person snd he DID try to save relationship but it was kang that stepped back to protect Moo's dream, Moo didn't give up on their love even after 1 year of separation. Also did you just expect an 18 year idol trainee to change the whole industry just like that?😭 that's much more unrealistic than this breakup.

Ik whatever route they chose would've made people mad anyway, if they let kangmoo be together and everyone accepted them then people will scream unrealistic and delulu🙄 but if they went a realistic route, people out here blaming Moo for not doing anything and Kang for being selfish to let go?? Yall speaking like yall would've done better

Asking out of pure curiosity, I've seen a bunch of people hating the generic break up route the show went... so I wanna know what alternate routes would those people want?
They already tried hiding the relationship or trying to announce it to fans, both didn't work... so what else could've been done instead?

I understand the frustration with the generic break up and time skip route but any other option didnt seem right either

Cuz people really out here forgetting that Moo is an 18 year old kid just trying to make it in this brutal industry... what did they want him to do?😭 also kang is a very selfless person, he wouldn't ever let Moo go through that bcuz of him, this dating thing had been setup a long time ago, i cant remember which episode but when Neth asked about keeping their relationship a secret, at that very moment you could tell what kang's choice eould be if it ever came down to him or Moo's dream... he would always choose Moo's well being🥹

I do understand people hating the break up near the end for no reason , it irritates me as well sometimes but here it made perfect sense to me (also think that last twilight break up was necessary but people aren't ready to hear that lol)

Didn't they try that already though? Might be a lot harder for them to do it cuz Moo is about to become an idol and has many eyes on him

I dont understand what other route they could've gone with it? I saw some people say the break up disappointed them and I just really dont get it... they tried keeping their relationship a secret which didn't work (highlights how people take pics of idol's private moments), moo also tried making his relationship public which didn't work either (kinda backfired) so what exactly did people want here? They could've gone the 'everyone is so accepting and they are now an IT couple' route which realistically never happens irl... or did you want moo to give up his dream and choose kang so kang feels guilty forever and moo becomes miserable pursuing a normal degree?

The reactions from KangMoo reflect their characters pretty nicely, Kang is very caring and loves Moo dearly so he couldn't want him to give up his dream for their love (we saw that in ep 4 already) and moo who is determined to make things work his way, he tries but fails twice... he is an open and honest person, we know he won't be able to keep the relationship and it would hurt him too much in the future so the only possible way seems like a temporary separation to me.

I do want to know what alternative route you want to suggest
