I agree! I immediately thought of Paradise while watching it. Still worth the watch. Yaya and Mario did so well!
A lot of it is very similar! The only difference is ML in the drama had a rougher time than Mathew in Paradise,. Nevertheless it really gave Paradise feels.
1) I am pretty sure this lakorn is based on the novel Paradise by Judith McNaught (will explain separately below)..the…
I wouldn’t doubt it! The Crown Princess is also one from a novel called The Princess by Jude Deveraux. I think they have to add things and switch thing so as not to get sued?
The worst plot ever , so disgusting, a Mom and son had sex this is horrible. I really like YaYa and Mario work,…
That’s your opinion and respect that. However I’m not closed minded. The whole drama was well written and delivered. What took place with Khla and Asia is a lesson for viewers, it’s not meant to be disgusting. First off, the dad is at fault for never clearing the situation which lead Asia to seek revenge. Secondly revenge will blind people which will lead to regrettable actions. Third abuse can go both ways for male and female. So before you spout that the writer is sick minded, ask yourself, is this something that can and may have already happen in the real world? Then go back an analyze what could been done to prevent this from happening. That’s what the writer is pointing out.
Did she know she was his real mother from beginning?
I think that wasn’t the case. Asia has always tried to seduce Khla, but even from the episode they showed her bathing and having him watch her, he showed no interest. The bed scene was her trying , but nothing happened, he never turned towards her. He did the same to Khim’s cousin, they didn’t sleep together either. The reason why Asia said the sin fell on her is , in my opinion, because she felt embarrassed for doing what she did to him. The seduction, and the hell she put him through. In the Buddhist religion , sinning isn’t just the act , the thought or intentions can also be a sin. She was more ashamed of her behavior towards Khla and Nate. She basically intended to kill them both. That’s why she said no parents want to kill their child.. Khla would have been more remorseful if he did do something that disgusting, I don’t think he will allow himself to be with Khim if that was the case. He treasures her too much.
My take on this is this is my favorite retelling of an old classic. A modern Romeo and Juliet with a wonderful happy twist. All the concept are still there, from the family conflict, to the overbearing cousin, the infamous poison that killed, the tragic deaths by suicide within the story. It’s all there! It however didn’t kill our main leads as they did both die once already! This was an ingenious spin off! I’d definitely call this a reincarnation of Romeo and Juliet! They finally fixed their love story! It’s refreshing from the same old one night stand story telling. It has it all! Tragedy, drama, romance, comedy. If you don’t give this drama a chance you’re missing out on one damn good story telling! Yaya and Mario with their explosive chemistry , nailed their roles to the tee. This really brought out many different emotions in me, it also touched base on what’s really a reality in our society. I’ve rewatched this drama plenty times already and it just ended today. I’m sure going to miss Khla and Khim! Thanks Anne for pairing these two and giving viewers such a wonderful drama!
But am sorry no disrespect to the Thai community that so love yaya and nadech i mean i do love them but i think…
Yaya and Mark had worked together way before Kleun Cheewit, and yes they have good chemistry. However with Mario, onscreen, it’s dynamic! Irl she’s perfect with Nadech.
What a great lakorn. I don't really come on this forum and read comments but I decided to read it today after…
Well said, this allows me to piggyback on the scene where Prim tried to seduce him and he did the same thing, but nothing happened. In that scene he also kept his back turned. I think that scene was important to show that Khla has self control and his heart and body is only weak to Khim. 😊
There's something about the way Yaya makes Khim so human, so vulnerable & just innocent that I can't dislike her…
I love the growth development in her. She was young and innocent before and now she’s strong enough to accept her dad can’t love her how she wants to be loved, and stood up to him defending Kla. She loves her dad very much, and as a daughter, you don’t want to see your parent lonely, she wants to be there for him in hopes he will change his view. She’s also has become the type that will accept facts, rather than words, because of her past mistake. Kla knows this and is showing her rather than telling her, that’s why she’s able to see him in a different light now. Our babies have grown up! She’s not trying to repeat what happened 7 years ago.
What episode does it actually show or say that he and Claire had sex? I saw the implication that he had sex with…
Claire was on her way abroad and didn’t go because she wanted to catch Kla and Khim. The suit case came with her as she didn’t board the plane. Kla never laid on the bed with Clair. He has trouble sleeping anyway. I think he and Clair never had intimate relationship. It would explain why it’s easier for Claire to end the relationship
