I was a wuxia type drama person and I came across word of honor but really loved him in yunxi and blooms at ruyi pavilion. He already had many drama fans before woh but he’s been absent in the acting scene due to his career boycott in China.
It’s undeniable that he’s an amazing actor and even with all the other handsome oppas I see now I still come back to MDL to send ZZH flowers. Maybe try a few of his dramas to see for yourself ?
According to Wikipedia, he was apparently cancelled after some "controversy" with Japanese shrine photos. I guess…
Actually he posted selfies while he was at cherry blossom tour, it just so happens he was at the vicinity of that shrine. The background of the pictures wasn't even the shrine if people did some research they would know it was one of the rumors used to smear and ruin his career. He is still heavily boycotted in mainland China, it really puts into perspective how someone like him was framed but cannot get justice.
Watching PMY’s dramas makes me curious how her chemistry will be with Zhang Zhehan, trailer looks great!!! This is probably one of the few Chinese and Korean drama collaborations right ?
Congratulation to Zhang Zhehan for having a successful sold out concert in Kuala Lumpur, he said he will never give up pursuing acting again and he will keep singing “A Loveletter to Film Makers” at every concert until he starts acting again. He never regret playing Zhou ZiShu and he is very thankful for that role. He also paid his tribute to MaJie who passed away this year.
He recently had an interview with a newspaper in Singapore stating that if he has opportunities in the future he would love to act again. As of now he’s focusing on his music career.
