This is one of my favorite dramas. I love the female lead and the character she played as a female constable and gun designer. at first I did not care for the ML but learned to love him in this and now pursue him in his other dramas. The chemistry between the 2 of them is just awesome. I can still picture them sitting on the roof together, shes drunk and covering her mouth and just seeing her eyes and so absolutely adorable and putting herself out there. how could he resist. I think like @stacymac929, I will have to rewatch this over the US Thanksgiving holiday as well.

I came here to see how well I agree with the ratings given on kisskh so I picked a series I really liked. Well, wow! I think the overall rating is lower than it should be but I love the 2 main reviews (mostly 10s). Things that broke my heart was the death of the king especially in such a way. Also, when the ML shot at the FL, wow did I feel betrayed. I loved the FL character, awesome military person and yet so vulnerable and insecure as a person. Sometimes I just go to the carousel scene to just watch her beat the crap out of the bad guys and save her then worthless love even though he treated her like crap.

great series. wonderful premise of forced caring, good character development, wonderful chemistry. I also liked rooting for evil compared to good that became corrupt.

I am on 33 now. its a train wreck but can't stop watching. whoever said dystopian was spot on.

just on episode 7 but liking it for the quirky characters. I do like the fight scenes which usually I don't watch. wallace huo such a good actor.

I was so fascinated to see that the ML was the young kid on high end crush. and wow he looks great when he got older! and he is a great actor.

kind of disappointing. not even a kiss.

what impressed me about the series was what a bad emperor he was. Loyal to no one. Ready to let his daughter die. Weak as all get out. why did he hide his daughter and not accuse left counsilor and just have him killed. lets himself be poisoned. when the rifle was used to try to assassinate ML the king should have just had the paid murderer shot for doing a misfire. it was so frustrating to see the left counsilor just doing whatever he wanted , let his son just murder someone on the street.

gets such a low rating because ML is such a loser character, but alas FL loves him. I liked the idea of the story about a FL running from a crappy life and becoming a constable and her lover having no choice but to follow her and make sure she is safe. Strong women have the luxury to fall for weak men I guess. I liked the things she did not forget when she was forced to forget everything. she still loved him and chicken soup and still embroidered some very interesting looking wood ducks exactly the same.

omg. no wonder she seems like such a basket case later.

what I really can't understand is the premise of the story. Why would she think he could fall for her acting like a bimbo like she does. and all the criticism of Esther - its not her fault that the director is obviously telling her how to act.

thanks! good spoiler. I didn't realize she texted him before she ended up blocking him. that is kind of a game changer and now I see why she would be even more humiliated. I actually hope she goes out with the handsome guy. he seems rather straightforward.

we don't even have episode 14 on viki.com yet, so I am not going to watch till I can binge watch in a weekend. I originally thought that the ML and FL had no chemistry, but then I saw the deleted kiss scene today ! and wow-za!

just coming here to watch spoilers and the twitter posted deleted kiss. I have not watched this series so far because the story is so unappealing and makes no sense and I'm in the US and like to watch after series is done. I did love Esther Yu in Love Between Fairy and Devil so I am watching all her series. I have only seen snippets posted on YouTube so far. Maybe he left without telling her after the deleted kiss scene because he knew she had been tricking him along and wanted to give her payback?

This drama was sooo good. I loved the chemistry between the leads and also the straightforward and neutral kind of attitude that Orchid had and I was happy to read here that she did her own voice dubbing. I also liked rooting for the demons as the heavenly realm really seemed kind of superior. This was one of the few dramas where I got to the middle and then decided to go back and rewatch the first several episodes so I would not miss anything important. I loved the way the male lead had to feel what she was feeling and was being controlled by a seemingly inferior grass. I hope this gets a lot of awards, it really deserves it.
