I really don't know the exact reason . But I think , one of the biggest reasons could be that it is a Japanese series.If it was a Korean series it surely would get more hypes or attention.International fans of Kdramas are way bigger than Jdrama.

It doesn't seems like love . ML just traped the FL from the very start . One of the worst drama I have ever watched.I am ok with possessive ML meanwhile here he is less possessive more arrogant and doing immature staffs .FL is the victim here.Only give 2 just for the amount of humors. I even liked"I love my president though he is a psycho(Cdrama)" which portraied the most toxic relationship with very obsessive ML , cause the Male had a psychological problem and the FL was sweet there. Meanwhile the FL in this drama is just annoying.

I was hesitating to watch this cause the leads are extremely popular . In case the plot is not that good enough it won't cause problem to get attention and hype.

And now I can say, it deserved all the hype .

The plot is refreshing , realistic and light . I have seen a lot of slow movies and dramas in my life , tbh it wasn't that much slow for me .In a word the story was not slow burn but the romance was actually slow paced . Xiao Zhan is such a skillful actor. Yang Zi is adorable
