Well all the leads are unique in their own way.But tbh,the second lead couple is more interesting and exciting to watch.Even JF & GZS are both so adorable together but I understand why some people are not much into the main lead it's not because they have less screentime,it is because the way their characters are written.GZY is a jolly, bubbly and adorable character who knows how to shoulder responsibilities and to have fun at the same time(only complain is when he acts stupid at times even though I believe that's a part of his scheming) while WYS is a strong,bold and cold character(sure enough because of her traumatic past experience in Wufeng,the way she's brought up{Like Charles Darwin's Law: Survival of the fittest})She knows she has to fight to make her own living so can't blame her for this attitude yet she has feelings, emotions and a warm heart. But her extreme cold attitude towards GZY I think is driving people's attention towards the second lead more. Fact is every leads/ side leads(GZY,YWS,GSJ,SQ,GYZ,GZS,JF)has their own stories to tell and everyone had bitter experience in their past.The brightest and funny character like GZS has the saddest story to tell about her bringing up,the only thing she desires the most in life is a little love and care to feel like there's someone who loves and cares for her in this world excluding of her status. The two female leads from Wufeng had their bitter past life experiences,the Gong's brothers(even though two of them are grey shades)had their own stories to tell. So I think people started taking an interest more over the second leads(SQ knows politics and scheming very well,to her emotions/ feelings doesn't matter so she knows how to make deals and to survive in extinct conditions,& at times she just needs to play with her eyes) while YWS is of cold nature and even though she knows scheming that is very unlikely to how SQ does with Gong's so it's absolutely depends on the way these characters were written by the writer.

My friend,I understood it by now and came straight here in the middle of the episode to tell you this.The past tragic incident shattered my heart into pieces and now I can't hate Gong brothers anymore. It was my misunderstanding in the beginning. GSJ has his own reasons,sentiments and emotional attachment with GYZ and I think we need to respect that afterall he lost his most beloved brother at a young age. I really felt so sad for both the brothers. Don't know how things will turn up between GZY & GSJ but Gong brothers are all good from their perspective.
